KeyHub Quick Start

1. Create an account

  • Click here and enter your company email address.

Make sure to use your company email address because KeyHub associates your email domain with your organisation for verification purposes. The first user that joins KeyHub becomes the Organisation Admin. This role can be re-assigned.

  • Check your inbox for a verification email.
  • Click the link to confirm your email address and then complete the registration form to create your account.

Step 1/5 completed!

Create a new KeyHub. There are only 2 required fields to fill out.

2. Create a KeyHub

  • Click the green “New KeyHub” button
  • Type a name for the KeyHub (e.g. name of the office, branch, or building where the key cabinet is located).
  • Set the number of hooks in your key cabinet (the value must be numeric and not contain letters).
  • There are various optional settings you can configure now or come back to later. Then just click the green "Save" button!

The free trial is limited to 200 key hooks but KeyHub can support thousands of keys so contact us if you need more.

Step 2/5 completed!

Share your KeyHub with users that require access.

3. Share your KeyHub

  • Select the “Sharing” link and click the blue button labelled, “Share this KeyHub.”
  • Enter the email address(es) of the user(s) that require access to your KeyHub and click the green "Add" button.
  • Select a permission role for the new user(s) and then click the green “Share” button.

What happens next?

  • An email invitation is sent to the users you specified with a link for them to register.

Make sure the users you invited register with the same email address that you specified when sharing access to the KeyHub.

  • Tell users to access the KeyHub web app or download the mobile apps at www.keyhub.app

KeyHub works great on computers, tablets and smartphones so whatever device you are on, KeyHub is always just a click or a tap away.

Step 3/5 completed!

Add a key. There are only 2 required fields to fill out.

4. Add your first key

  • Select the “View keys” link and click the green “New Key” button.
  • Enter a name for the key (this is the name/reference of the key, e.g. 14 Railway Cuttings).
  • Select the hook number - this is the hook number where the key is stored in the key cabinet.
  • Click "Save" and you will see the new key displays with a green status of “IN” and the key’s hook number is shown in yellow.

We can bulk import keys for you to save you time. Download the template CSV file and update this file with all your key data. Then email the file to support@key-hub.com and we will do the rest!

Step 4/5 completed!

Check out or in a key with only 3 clicks.

5. Check out/in keys
